Yellow | Pacific NW sign on bonus

Where is the $2000.00 bonus to retain the veterans? So the new hires who usually don't know jack shi** are more more valuable than the veterans with years of experience?

At the time of the 2014 MOU our west coast local repeatedly, and with emphasis, urged all the YRC employees to find other jobs. Over the next few months the local found jobs for nearly all the younger employees. The very small number of people that have been hired since then can expect to have their rights under the contract completely ignored by management. The local simply will not return calls complaining about the matter. There does not appear to be a listing for help wanted at our terminal, though large amounts of freight is given to cartage on a daily basis.

Here it is.

For $2000 you can position yourself between a local union that doesn't want you because you are part of the never ending drama that is YRC, and terminal management that doesn't want you because they have an unlimited, no questions asked budget for cartage, and dream of the day that the can just push a 4 inch thick stack of bills across the counter to a guy that will make it all disappear, so that they can spend the day doing as they please.
