Downingtown, Pa. - June 9 2006 - A tractor trailer rolled down an embankment along the Pennsylvania Turnpike early Friday.
State police say the driver hit an abandoned car just east of the Downingtown exit just before 1:00 am.
The truck overturned and rolled down an embankment.
Rescuers cut the roof off the truck to extricate the driver.
He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where information about his condition is not being released.
Crews are continuing to off-load the truck, which was carrying a generator.
