Did you listen to the fear in the officer's voice. I think he made a horrible judgement, and I can't wait to hear his side of the story. In my opinion, based on what we know so far, the officer made several mistakes, but there is two sides to every story.

And the reason they are dying of homicide at a rate six times higher than whites and Hispanics combined is because they commit homicide at eight times the rate higher than whites and Hispanics combined. And that type of crime disparity means that when the police are trying to save lives, they are in minority neighborhoods confronting people engaged in drive‑by shootings, killing children.

No one likes living in a crime filled community white, black ,brown, red nobody

Then you would also have Officer Darren Wilson from Ferguson, Missouri hanging from a tree also. Which would have been a grave injustice.
Be patient.

And more violence in the streets cures absolutely nothing.

Using a tree would be the easy route out for him. 25 to life without the possibility of parole sounds much better with his peers 24/7 365.

Good luck with that, since there isn't anyone on here that has said any such thing. Every one of us realize that there are some bad apples in every basket.

When a cop shoots a suspect. All I read on here is suspect should've did it this way or that way and maybe an incident wouldn't have occurred. But when roles are reversed or suspect just fights back never here officer shouldn't have been so aggressive/excessive use of force the incident might have never occurred.

Every officer should handle each situation unbiased and without prejudice. If they can't perform the task law enforcement is not for them. That's the risk you take in that type of career.

Did the officers know that when they received call no. I agree they should have guard up a little for the fact of he had gun on him. After you secure weapon and suspect is restrained should anymore force be used?

The amazing thing is how the guys who usually worry about Constitution, tyranny, and government overstepping it's bounds.....always change when the police are actually doing everything they seem to not want.
