Don't forget about All American Freight originally based out of Sioux Falls, SD owned by Loren Lewis. All orange colored tractors, mostly IHC cabovers, with the logo " Home of the Speedball" (baseball) on the trailers. In the late '70's they merged with several small companies, then Termimal Transport out of Atlanta (brown GMC tractors) then name changed to American Freight System. The company color became all white tractors until the company closed in 1988 due to mismanagement. All debts to employees and vendors were paid completely PLUS 30% after AFS sued Westinghouse Finance Corp. for causing a profitable company to close. Too late for over 12,000 employees who lost their jobs.
