That's right it costs $1.08 cents a mile to run a truck then add the drivers pay.

Sorry ... I needed to add this for the PT
$1.62X615= $996

fuel .. 7mpg x 87 gal = 615 miles 87 gal x 315 a gal = $274 fuel cost

better yet ... 50% goes to the truck and 50% to you as a O/O ..but its been way too many years since I did this ... I'd almost bet 75% to the truck and 25% to you since prices have went up and the haul pay has not

Another nail in PT's coffin. 53' left Wht the other night at 2000 with several guaranteed bills for SAC. Got there at 1300 hours the next day. 17 hrs to go 402 miles. What a concept for successful business.

Not windy but he got caught in the Tulare rest area and had to wait for it to clear out. Darn Cali traffic. :biglaugh: :shift:
