After 24 years road driver Fedex Freight, I retired in 2017. Some of you know me. I'm curious how much things have changed in the last 7 years. I mean, of course I read about the big stuff on here, but I'm talking more about the day to day stuff like dispatch procedures, rule changes, etc.

I retired Feb 2 after 30 years service . I’m still waiting on my 30 year safety award and retirement card. Seems no answer to when and were they are coming . Seems your forgotten after you leave.
I just got my service award. Over 5 months late. Several years ago I got a safety award, and I said I didn't get one last year. He came up to me months later. They found the year before in a desk when they were cleaning out a office.

That's when it was apparent to me that we're just numbers...

Our center just sets them in the dispatch window for you to pick up,if you notice it.

Retired last May 1st and I never could get a retirement card. They took my picture 5 times and gave me one excuse after another why they couldn't get me a card. Don't really care now, though.
