After 24 years road driver Fedex Freight, I retired in 2017. Some of you know me. I'm curious how much things have changed in the last 7 years. I mean, of course I read about the big stuff on here, but I'm talking more about the day to day stuff like dispatch procedures, rule changes, etc.

I just got my service award. Over 5 months late. Several years ago I got a safety award, and I said I didn't get one last year. He came up to me months later. They found the year before in a desk when they were cleaning out a office.
That's when it was apparent to me that we're just numbers...

Retired last May 1st and I never could get a retirement card. They took my picture 5 times and gave me one excuse after another why they couldn't get me a card. Don't really care now, though.

they don't "give" us anything, but my TM did offer a bulk discount on 10 or more. CASH ONLY

I never cared for any companies cards or certificates. They really didn't mean anything. Just a printed card stock or piece of paper. Just pay me and leave me alone.
