Most recent activity at CVE/218 was last Friday they laid off one combo employee. According to my conversation with our union steward, we have gone over the overtime hours where they should be recalling, not laying off.

There are a lot guys using vacation, retiring, and taking LOA's to work at ABF.

Recalled 10 @ 211 (Akron) effective 8-8-10 for the dock/yard. They also brought back some road last month, Not sure how many though.

Old TM at 423 back as main man on July 1st. Since then he has laid off 11. Total of 35 working in local cartage as of 8-19-10.
