Politics of down sizing it only goes one way!
This from 2009 ish "A YRC spokeswoman said Wednesday that the Yellow-Roadway consolidation will reduce the number of facilities from 600 to about 450 by year’s end and reduce the employee count at affected facilities by an estimated 15 percent, although she didn’t have an estimated count of employees who will be laid off."

My problem with this is who is going to move the freight across the country if there 298 road jobs lost. What needs to happen is get rid of the use of PTS. There only going to add to more PTS

Let me just give the cliff notes to those who can't read it.

Yellow wants the employees to take a 10 percent paycut through 2030. The money will be used to hire Bill Zollars back as a consultant, and they will buy a new Nascar race car.

Failure to agree to these terms will force Yellow to sell all new equipment and put the Sterling daycabs back in service.

Well maybe all the equipment will be one yellow. Absolutely nothing but rumors out west so far. Is it possible to switch this quickly? Maybe, but damn that’s going to cost a lot more money and a lot more organization needed to even think it’ll work lol
