Yellow | Restroom use

P&D managers @ 511 were harassing men who were stopping along their routes to take a P break (4-5 minutes max) during the height of the pandemic. We posed some simple questions back to him....."Do you wait until breaktime to go the restroom? Does the rest of the terminal? What about the terminal manager? Maybe you want us to P in the truck, because we sure aren't going to P in our pants."

Most customers wanted us to pick up and deliver their freight, but very few wanted us coming into their warehouses, let alone using their facilities.

.... Union Co ..... would arrive 1/2 hr early ,,, TM or OPS mgr
at 8pm would read situations , safety thoughts , for maybe
15 minutes which all are on the clock , after the talk , at least
three guys would hit the john bye bye work hello time being
paid ...

I know some that are of the same thought...."Never sweat on company time..... Never s#!t on their own time"

Problem is few guys sit in there 1/2 hour out of every hour & then 1/2 smoke break & then 1/2 washing truck mirrors & then 1/2 looking at paper work & then 1/2 looking in the mirror combing their hair & 15% time actually loading freight !

Is it now standard practice for terminal managers to track men down in the restroom is it happening anywhere else beside 172
If they spend a lot of time there it's probably the best place for them.
Your terminal manager is stealing time by wasting time with that.
He'd be best to focus on the guys who do what he wants. Then stuff gets done.
That's how good managers run a place.
They don't waste time
with nonsense.
Not saying I want to work at a place where nothing gets done.
But the best bosses we've had never wrote anybody up.
They knew how to ignore riff raff and lots got done.
No stupid back and forth letters and grievances causing misery everywhere.
They know the business and job and know how to avoid conflicts to get it all done.

That's the problem. They bury their head in the sand on the ones that are banging them every day and keep pounding the people who produce. Not a fan of that thinking.
Sounds to me that they're gonna pound on anybody then. No matter the guy on the toilet gets fired or not.

If they want to get rid of somebody they know how. And ones who don't learn hang themselves. On both sides.
Nope, not any more. There's virtually nothing you can do to hang yourself . We've got a person who has turned a 53 around on someone's lawn, got stuck in the mud and then goes home when forced 2 hours by the terminal manager. The inmates officially own this place.
