Yellow | Right to Work

After the right wing Supreme Court sided with Mark Janus the state worker from Illinois , guess what Janus did ? Yeah he quit his job and was hired by a right winged think tank organization all most immediately . He and his lawyer were on C-Span trying to explain his actions when a caller called him out that he is a union busting shell . The next blow to labor is that they are looking to strip away at Workmans Comp and Unemployment insurance .Its only going to get worse .The Supreme Court is being stacked with hard core corporatist extremist judges for the next 40 years . Notice Trump is looking at all young judges for many years to come .

I couldn't agree more. We are in for the biggest fight labor has ever seen. I hope everyone is paying attention and ready to dig in!
 
What in the hell are you guys bitching about, you got what you wanted when you successfully organized a company and that is still not enough? You pushed for union organization, you pushed to be the sole authority to negotiate, on behalf of the workers, and you promised those employees, who were not voting union, that you would represent them too. Did you bother to tell them that you were also going to force them to pay or was that some double secret type of thing?

Grow up for God's sake. Calling these employees, Scabs, threatening physical damage or some other form of retaliation, or any number of other infantile gestures, is just giving ammo to the anti union crowd to use against you and apparently, you are giving the anti union crowd more ammo then the U S gave the Allies during WW2. You are your own worst enemy and too stupid to see it.

You have already lost the Supreme Court and close to thirty out of fifty states. Honor your word to represent all employees, regardless of whether they pay or not, or continue to throw your infantile tantrum. You need those fence sitters and right now you are pushing them off the fence to the anti union side. Keep it up and every state will be right to work and damn soon, then, you'll really have something to bitch about.

This is exactly the attitude that is going to sink you. You guys keep bitching about keeping a pension promise and yet didn't you make a promise to represent the non union guys. it seems you have no problem breaking that one. The problem is that pension doesn't vote and those non union guys can. Keep giving those voting non union guys a reason to give you the finger. Good luck.

If you don’t pay dues your not in good standing as a member of the IBT. Meaning you don’t vote on nothing just receive benefits of the Union. The law protects them they get copy of contract work rules etc. They better get to reading. I wish terminals still did card check

Ok let's see if I can keep this short, YRC has been union for a LONG time so there would be NO NON union people there,And anybody appling for a position at YRC or ABF or USPF or UPS knows that these companys are union. So they should also know they will pay the fee's and dues,don't think to many out here don't know that. Force to pay???? NO it's part of the bennies same as pay,insurance,work rules spelled out and can't change like the wind,etc. Do you think that there are that many people that don't know that going in??Right to work (for less) just gives them the option of not paying dues BUT still getting all the perks' YES they will be represented just as would a dues paying brother, but we know how the dog and pony show could go. I have talked to many BA's in the rtw states and they said they haven't lost too many dues paying members. The ammo you talk about has been out for a long time and you know that you have been around for awhile, In closing if paying 50 60 70 per month dues for the perks you get from them is causing you to fall off the fence to the NON side is kinda weak.

Never said they wouldn't be represented just maybe not as well as a dues paying member.That's what happens some times may be KARMA, It's just not the union go against the grain anywhere and see where that gets ya
