You could really tell he was a real nice likable guy and talented in all aspects of the show.

sorry to say, that i actually thought he passed away some years ago.

i no longer follow anything country music related, i have decided long ago to follow local talk radio shows.

Before Roy became successful while traveling through this state his wife had severe pain due to a tubal pregnancy. They stopped by a local hospital where she was treated by a local physician who sensed they were not able to pay & let them continue on. Roy never forgot the kindness & remained friends with the doctor even after his success.
