He was very cordial to all the dock employees
and of course, listened to their complaints..
The complaints were mostly about the TM,
and the Ops Manager....nobody else was
mentioned in the complaints...now will any-
thing be done.....he promised to send his HR
crew in next week to investigate....

Let me add, that the complaints are valid...
The abuse, the threats, the "hit" list, all is
there....but will anything be done....we will
see, and I will keep you all appraised of the
on going situation at Dallas....More should
have confronted him, but we all need our
jobs....
 
wish he would help us in my term. its just sad there.. but, had a couple of d.m.'s in this week and told us everything is great
 
maybe he did what junior did in atlanta one time. he had a notepad and took down suggestions, later when a guy was throwing away some trash he found said notepad in the trash

Iv'e lost all hope for the employees of this company. When are you guys going to see these situations for what they are? It will never get any better then it was yesterday. In other words. Your world at this company is spiraling downward. Everyday that passes brings another kick in the nuts. Feel the pain and react. Here is the answer. Run as fast as you can. Out the front gate,down the street, and into another carriers front door, into your new terminal managers office,and say here I am, I'll start work today. It's that simple. No 2 week notice. The last time they turned your world upside down with one of their hair brain operational changes, did they give you notice. " Quit if you don't like it here" used to **** me off to know end. But you know you can only get problems corrected from your employer if your employer cares. The only care from these people is to their profit margin.

I hear you used to be in COI. I also hear you work for UPS. I would worry about all the stuff there and not at your old employer. It is not great here but starting B S rumors where you do not work is chicken sh**.
 
At least you guys have someone that at least pretends to care and shows up to listen to your complaints. What I hear on this board reminds me of a year or two before WML was purchased. Wait untill a big Corp gets its hands on you guys. You aint seen nothin yet!

I hear you used to be in COI. I also hear you work for UPS. I would worry about all the stuff there and not at your old employer. It is not great here but starting B S rumors where you do not work is chicken sh**.

First of all What is coi? And second of all I'm Impressed you took the time to read my prior postings in an attempt to figure out who you are dealing with! You are a lower to middle management fellow that Estes gave a chance to. Nothing more. The only reason they gave you a chance is because you were cheap. period. As soon as your numbers decline, your'e gone. How does the reality pill taste? The only difference between you and I is I used to work for G.I., as you well know. You don't know what it's like to belong to a professional organization. In my opinion, Estes flys by the seat of their pants. And believe me when I tell you, I am elated I don't have to wear that uniform any more. And if you wanted to be honest with yourself and this forum, you would admit that you are worried or stressed about your current employment as well. Otherwise you wouldn't be snooping around on the internet trying to figure out what's up with your disfunctional company. And as far as spreading BS. Wrong again. Just about every issue I talk about or post about has been backed up by multiple sources. I have no interest is spreading falsehoods. My only interest is informing the G.I. drivers who are still with Estes. And to the other misfit from the peanut gallery. Justbeinapain ,I believe. Everything I posted here is for you as well. Another warm body stuck in a low paying clerk position. Don't feel bad. They screen their drivers about the same way. Oh and by the way, I found I didn't need drugs and therapy once I left Estes.

Drop your saddle and get on the bandwagon. The most recent pay cuts were Northwest Airlines. Pilots got a 40% pay cut while the CEO got 48mil paycheck. This goes on every single day.

The guys out west aren't the only ones that have heard this. And, since it's so common I don't understand why you don't believe the possibility exists. Reality check man. Reality check.

If it doesn't happen, it either wasn't true .. or .. they back down without telling us and make us believe it was a myth. Either way, it's common business, it's not under their morals to do it, and the way they have been treating everyone it's quite possible.

East, West and us middles should be working together. You types just don't get it. The ex-GI's had an upstanding management, though they had some issues. Their management at least tried to keep competetive pay and benefits with the big boys to keep employees. It would only benefit everyone here to try and equal out to what they had, not bring them down so you never get better. Open your eyes and see what has happened with pay since the takeover. Not just bringing ex-GI's down, but also reducing our pay/bennies (you're linehaul right?)

Oh yeah, talk to your congressman or senator. They must be the role model for Estes mgmt.

They are currently at their lowest approval rating ever (yes...lower than the president) but just gave themselves a raise. See....stay out of reality, crap on the people, etc. etc. etc.

Sounds like the same sh** to me.

Well since I am causing undue stress upon drivers who either don't figure things out on their own or are not capable of doing so. And I am going to jail for crimes I didn't commit. I guess I will seize and desist from further postings. NOT!!!!!! It is not against any law to express ones opinion of anything. Although I bet Estes would love for one such law to be passed. And as far as your accusation of myself as a liar. How dare you sir. I have never, not once posted a lie. I only passed on info. that I have deemed credible. Whether this info. is proved or disproved is at no fault of mine. So I would cordially request that you refrain from such accusations. Last time I checked, to speak ones mind, was protected under the expressed written permission of the constitution of the United States of America. If you don't appreciate these freedoms maybe you should check your frequent flier miles. Perhaps Russia or China might be excepting new citizens who enjoy living under tyranny. And how on earth do you figure cutting your pay is B.S.? They have taken delay pay, changed overtime pay from after 8 hrs to after 55 hrs. then down to after 48 hrs.( after the union activity last year) taken sick pay, layover pay, breakdown, on and on. This equals a pay cut on my calculator as well as yours sir. Why can't you figure this out on your own? So if they have already done this. Is it so far fetched to believe that under the current financial stability of Estes, at this point, that they are not capable of acting on this rumor and I admit it is just a rumor at this point. And Wayne is an assistant vice president of operations. And by the way I care very much for my fellow drivers. I even care about you and your partners on this forum who love me so much. I just think it's time to quit being taken advantage of. Even the crack pot Marilyn Manson has it right when he writes in one of his songs, " Bow down to the one you serve. You might want to check with your local union rep. especially if it is true that nocal is trying to go union. Your post on here can screw the union.

As for caring about your fellow drivers I commend and respect you for that, but only that.

You realize I can go on your work boards and post all the rumors I hear about your contract and how they want to get rid of the union. That would be below me.

First I know you are not happy and are posting to vent. You have never said things that are out of the context. This is why when I read your posts I understand where you are coming from and agree most of the time.
Post that are so biased and from union employees and estes employees alike are detrimental to all of us. If they want to say something like such and such happend and I told so and so and nothing happend, then post on here to vent I back that 100%. That is not the case with a few people on here and that is cra*....

I do have one question for you. when is the last time you went and talked to someone about the problems here. And since we all know that would not go anywhere when if ever have you contacted Richmond with concerns. I do and have done this and will continue to if I find something worthy of upsetting me to that point.
