YRCW is currently asking for major "Work Rule" changes for YRC. Meeting going on this week, not last week as the rumor mill had stated.

Hubby and some other driver have heard today that they are closing the doors on 09/01/10 they heard this from Con-Way and Fed Ex driver..

I have trouble believing anything that a Con-Way or Fed Ex driver may have said........But, if it was a R & L driver........It's as good as money in the bank.

Now you have gone and dunnit you will have to be banned because this was not to be reported until after the 1st. And the first one to get to tell us was the Conway and Fedex driver

So ever time a Conway and FedEx driver start a rumor ( per first post ) you want YRCW to have a press release ?

I hate the rumour mongering too but someday one of these rumours mayl turn out to be true, you don't have to bite her head off. And just what is a good source anymore? The Company certainly doesn't tell the truth either. Lets see, give us 15% plus 18 months no pension and we will give our exec. an $800,000 bonus if he stays! Geez

r-14 I guess I wasn't directing it at anyone in specific...just venting that there doesn't seem to be any good source of info anymore. Just in one of those moods...the ccompany lies, drivers lie, the competition lies etc. My husband says he will go to work each day like he has for the past 25 yrs and give it 100% if or 'till they shut em down. He tells me not to worry.

Ten dash Four And if more people showed up like your husband and did there job at 100% the corporation would be a tad bit better . Tell him Thanks from the Golden State !

I think with all of the extensions it was 99 weeks. Then recently they added another 27 weeks for people that have ran out of unemployment. 99+27=126 weeks. 126 weeks=2 years and 22 weeks. ( in Michigan)
