Oh just wait until to change lol out west is been a completely disaster. We’re losing freight so fast it’s amazing to witness. Strap in fellas. This change is going to be so catastrophic to the company it might take years and years to recoup if it ever recoups. Drivers leaving for other companies that are pick up the lost freight. Saia, FedEx and R&L are snatching up drivers as fast as they can get equipment for them. It’s bad lol
To top it all off, the company just canceled our day after Thanksgiving holiday, everyone is working. Lol, takes a lot of brains to work everyone when a handful of businesses are open. This whole change is a joke.

Retail and resi’s will be the only thing open. Seems like a waste for time and a half unless they’re going to break a lot of trailers and load routes for Monday.
Okay, unless there’s something new in the contract, the company can’t just “cancel “ a contractual holiday! Holidays are always open on a signup basis- and there is supposed to be no P&D on any holiday!
I don't think he meant that the holiday is cancelled, just that many wii be working - premium pay of course for working the holiday. Also never heard that there can be no P&D on a holiday.
K, he said the company cancelled the holiday, and everyone was working- the contract at least used to say there was no P&D on a holiday- anyone know if this is not in the language anymore?
And the day after Thanksgiving was always a straight time holiday- not a premium day
I'm not sure about p&d, the notice was posted on the line side of the office, ALL line runs will be operating except 5 or 6 bridge runs. Could be to catch up on moving freight, I personally have never seen this company cancel the day after Thanksgiving, not since the late 90s anyway.
They usually put up a sign up sheet and still not run anyone but respected the drivers holiday time with family. I'll grab a snapshot of the notice on monday.
Stock under 5 because almost 2 billion in debt has no assests and hasn't had 2 positive quaters in over a decade. Some on here will say they are making money. But our opions mean nothing it's what you can prove. They can prove the are lossing money can you prove they are lying ?
Companies have no day to day control on the actual stock price. Stock market is an auction, what one person is buying is determined by what someone is willing to sell it at. People buy stocks on a dip all the time let it go up 10 % to 15% then unload it. Happens every trading day.
I believe any holiday worked is double time plus 8 hrs holiday pay. City.

Should put up a sign off sheet for those who wish not to work. If your bid to work your expected to work unless you sign the sheet.

Supposed to layoff all dock only and box trucks at 386 (MI) from what I heard layoff was cancelled. Not sure about the reason.
