Line haul drivers are paid 7 1/2 minutes for a drop, same for a hook. This has been the case forever. However several years ago company policy added safety coning of dock doors. That is fine, city p&d drivers are paid by the hour to perform this function. Line haul drivers perform it for free. That's not right. How much time do you spend on this? 10 minutes a day times 250 days ( with 2 weeks vacation). = 2500 minute divide by 60 minutes = over 41 hours pay.
