Yellow | Scott Ware's New Job At YRCW?!

“Quoth the Raven- Nevermore!” Mr Poe. (seemless should be seamless)

https://www.poetryfoundation.org/

And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon’s that is dreaming,
And the lamp-light o’er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted—nevermore!

English teacher exposed me to Poe, though I had been a late night horror film lover for years. She was purportedly a centerfold, adding to my being so enamored. I have this in my collection on vinyl.

Scott D. Ware

Management Biography

Yellow and Roadway merged and customers ran. Both companies shrank because of customers hating the other company. Ware can move the freight IF there's freight. Merge the companies more and customers will run away again. Remember the customers or we are nothing.

YRC Worldwide Inc.
Scott D. Ware
Chief Network Officer, YRC Worldwide
President,
Holland

Scott Ware is Chief Network Officer of YRC Worldwide (YRCW),
the holding company for a portfolio of less-than-truckload (LTL)
companies including YRC Freight, YRC Reimer, Holland,
Reddaway, and New Penn. He was named to the position in
October, 2018. He also serves as President of Holland, a
position he has held since 2012. Ware joined Holland in 2007.
Ware has more than 35 years of freight transportation
experience, with proven expertise in linehaul-network
optimization and planning. As VP of Operations at Holland, he
led multiple performance-improvement initiatives and service
enhancements while re-engineering the freight flow network.
Those changes allowed Holland to remain a leader in providing
regional LTL services as the tenth-largest LTL carrier in the US.
Holland’s network consists of 53 terminals and over 8,000
employees servicing the Midwest and Southeast.
Ware earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of
North Carolina at Charlotte. He began his transportation career
while in college as a part-time dock worker. He entered
Roadway’s management training program as an employee of its
Spartan Express subsidiary. He progressed through senior
leadership positions at both corporate and field levels, gaining
extensive experience in the LTL industry through roles in
operations, sales, and administrative management.
Headquartered in Overland Park, Kan., YRCW has one of the
most comprehensive LTL networks in North America, with local,
regional, national, and international capabilities. The YRCW
companies offer industry-leading expertise in flexible supply
chain solutions, ensuring customers can ship industrial,
commercial and retail goods with confidence.

It appears that Mr. Ware will be spearheading the integration of the networks? Maybe there is something to those recent "merger" rumors? Keep your ears open!
