i have a question to ask did any one know that good friday supposedly is not a service day. i know of some freight that did not move in the city because good friday was supposedly not a service day.... this is a new one on me.............
 
It will get a service exemption per customers being closed. Most of this will be done by inbound fos'. Any freight that gets picked up should move to its next destination regardless of holidays, etc

To answer your question Good Friday is a service day. It is not a legal holiday even though it is a religious holiday for most people
 
thats why i asked the question i knew what the answer was. it seems the non service day was used to keep from having svc failures. i know that some of the freight that was held was pu prior to thursday before good fri. i was told if frt was pu thursday then it did not have to be delivered good friday:toxic:
