We are pleased to announce on February 12, 2009 we received from the International Brotherhood of Teamsters a letter declaring an unconditional offer to return to work. It appears the Teamsters will give up their strike.

We have stated all along that we believed this strike was not in the best interest of our employees, customers or Oak Harbor Freight Lines.

Oak Harbor Freight Lines is surprised by what appears to be a sudden change in course by the Teamsters and we are assessing all the legal implications of the recent letter from Mr. Hobart.

We will give you further updates as information becomes available. As always, you can find copies of the return to work memo and other documents on oakhanswers.com in the negotiations update section.

Sudden change?? Ha. They're the ones saying that the Unfair Labor Practices are over now that they posted that notice, why wouldn't we try to go back?? If they decline our offer, it only proves they were out to break the Union in the first place. I'm sure Ed would **** his pants if he had to take the stand....

Union pissed in their pants , because they don't have strike pay to support all of us. Power in company hands now .

The union has plenty of money to keep supporting the strike if any body is pissing the pants it has to be all the ***** out on the street with no pay oh im sorry bigboy11 would that be you

The company is posting all kinds of things to pretened the strike really wasn't about their participation in the ULP's that they have sent out letters telling us they committed. They refuse to negotiate a contract. How far do the VP's want to drag this company into the mud?
