Wow, Galaxie Diner in Montreal, great find BRG. I've never been to that diner unfortunately, but I was in Montreal on a vacation trip on Labor Day weekend of 1997 and had dinner at Moishe's Steak House there. Great place if you're ever up that way. First went to Moishe's in the 1970's while on a long layover with Maislin. It was the closing day of the 1976 Olympics there and that Saturday was party time well into the next morning.

On my trips to Montreal for Yellow before the merge I often ate at Dorval Deli or Scores Restaurant in the mall off A20 in Dorval. After the merge when we began using the former Reimer terminal I almost always ate at Brasserie Manoir in Point Claire. What's the point of working if you can't enjoy nice meals along the way? :duh:

I think there is a law in Canada stating, truck drivers must take a lunch break, and can’t go home early.

Is that like the nice meals at Pilot and Loves?

Filet mignon on a roller???….
Ive bought the burritos in the package and get going down the road and it's dried out so bad you can't eat it. Also have bought what i thought was sausage egg and cheese burrito and a bacon egg and cheese burrito according to package and get going down the road and they were bean burritos in the wrong package. I just bring my own food in a cooler now. Ive seen a smoked sausage on the roller that was there so long it looked like a slim jim.

that'll teach you to stay away from the burritos

I thought that, real truck drivers, knew better than to stop at truck stops to eat anymore?Only reason to stop there now is to watch the flip floppers, trying to back up, wash their truck cab with the windshield squeegee, throw pee bottles out, or park blocking the fuel island for 30 minutes.

Loves is now selling these sandals for foreign drivers that identity as a truck driver !!! And installing uni-sex bathrooms for people switching from man to women or women to a man ! But the Iowa Governor is fighting to Ban Uni-sex bathrooms , says its just a bunch of spam !!
