Are yaw'll staying steady or picking up? Something I have always wondered though, since I am now doing research again grrrrrrr, I can go get the doubles endorsement but I have no actual experience pulling doubles, does Fed Ex hire people like me and train them?

I have been pulling doubles since 92 and have never hooked to a 53.

If you have a cdl and a clean mvr they will hire you.

Hey Girl how are ya? There is no real training to it, other than hooking your set, which you will have no trouble with.... :shift:Pulling doubles is a piece of cake.

When I started here, I had the doubles endorsement but I never pulled doubles. The safety guy took the time during the road test to show me how to properly hook them as well as breaking them apart. I had no problem with it, and my worries were for nothing. Take the plunge. You'll be glad you did.

This sounds a little racey let us who don't know the back story. It seems as if it could be a good one.

P.S. Get on board the FXNL train to who knows where it will be a fun ride.

I don't really like pulling doubles.
Especially empties in the winter.
When the wind blows, that rear kite is all over the road.
Maybe if you live down south it's OK.
Still don't really like them.
Gimmie a van any ole' day!
