CONCORD, N.C. (Aug. 4, 2010) - The No. 16 Con-way Freight Ford Fusion driven by Colin Braun will feature a special hood this weekend at Watkins Glen International. The traditionally white Con-way Freight logo will have the names of a record 92 truck drivers who have earned a trip to the National Truck Driving Championships; often referred to as the “Super Bowl of Safety” in the industry.

Well, this race has come and gone but it is nice of Conway to acknowledge those who have made a name for Conway in the prestigious world of truck driving. These 92 truck drivers absolutely contribute to the bottom line of the company and they are what makes this company so profitable. We don't mention the ones that cost the company money everyday, you know, the ones that go out there day in and day out safely. The 1 million, 2 million and soon to be some 3 million mile safe drivers. I have never seen a company make such a big whoop tee do about a truck rodeo. The million mile guys get a piece of cake, a few bobbles, a nice lunch or dinner and then forgotten. I know the company doesn't have to do anything at all and all that they do is appreciated but I just think they are making more fuss about the guys in the TDC instead of the guys and gals who make this company what it is EVERYDAY. Bitter, no. Tired of listening to the crap, yeah.

I heard The guy from Richmond got a truck for a 1 million mile, anyone knows if its true? I didn't get one for mine, just cake:)
I only got cake for being on the hood as well, nothing more, sounds like you are bitter:)
