Speed in 1-81 Crash 'unbelievable'

bilde

So let me get this right, the first trucker was going between 70 & 75 when he came upon slower traffic, then crashed into a Semi in that slower group.
Hmm had that trucker not been in such a hurry we wouldn't be posting anything about this crash.
What does it take for some folks to use their brain for what it is intended to do (THINK)!

Found an update with a video>http://www.nbc29.com/Global/story.asp?S=14010021

Not sure but if the ABCO tractors are controlled by R+L rules then there is no way he was doing 70 to 75 since the computers in our trucks are set to no faster than 68.Not sure if the ABCOs are set the same.

The article you posted Apostilic actually says he was traveling at 60.

Police say a trucker from Plant City Florida was traveling about 60 miles an hour, when he came up on vehicles going no more than 20. Traffic was backed up from an earlier crash. The trucker hit three other vehicles, and is charged with reckless driving.

10-2, 10-4 TheyCallMeTaterSalad.
Drove, on a part time basis, day cabs with 48' and 53' reefers from lower NC to central WV and all trucks governed at 64, but it made no difference in VA and WV when loaded, descending in gear. Dragonflies!!

Like one of the story comments at the 1st link, "unbelievable speeds" isn't unbelievable.
IF, say, one of the trucks or cars were speeding at 100, then yes, unbelievable might be proposed, but 70-75??
This isn't 1936 for fuchs sake.

Apparently ABCO WAS THE FUEL and the rest of the scene, the product.
Another hot load that had to cool off almost inverted and as some drivers learn only usually too late, PHYSICS play a integral part of truck driving.
