ABF | Start and Top out Rate.

Anybody know the start and top out, out of Atlanta for road driver?

If you go to the Teamsters.org. site,.....go to Freight Division,.....and see the sidebox for ABF contract,......you can find the exact figure.

Now,....for new-hires, there are several possible pay scales,........All of them predicated on HOW the TM designates you.
If you're a casual/preferred casual you are starting a a lower rate...(...and no benefits, in some cases...)...than a new hire/probationary......

It's VERY important to get the TM to either put it in writing, or state in front of the steward,....what your hiring status is.....

I'm sure someone here from the Atlanta area will let you know what their Supplement says....

If not,.....slog through the contract language on the Teamsters site, Brother..........

I'm a road driver working out of 086 (Atlanta) and top pay is 0.62 cents a mile and 24.93 an hour for hourly work (drop and hook, waiting on load, breakdown, etc). Start pay is 90% for the first year, then top pay

In Kansas City, they are starting new hires at 100%, and no probationary period. All Hires. Know a greivance has been filed to make all employees "whole".
