While some claim to have trucking in their blood, it was literally stamped into Robey W. Estes Jr. He admits the mark of destiny was self-inflicted......

Recalling the deregulation decade of the 1980s — which “scared my dad to death”........

Great article-thanks for finding and posting it. This company is still rooted in the same safe, conservative ways as when it was started. I am sure W.W. and Robey would both be very pleased.

When we opened over here across the Big Muddy, I heard Mr.Robey threw a fit.He did not want to move west of the Mississippi.
Took Rob and the whole family two years to convince him to expand west.I met him once in Atlanta, very nice and informative gentleman.

The stories he could tell.I enjoyed talking to him.
