I think your right. They were a subsidiary of freightliner. I think freightliner bought the right to Ford's heavy truck line.

All the Sterling were turned in had no were close to a million miles. We have Freightliners 09, 10, and 11 with over a million we are still running. We did not revive any new truck last year and got only 6 this years

Were those refurb Sterlings?? We were getting some refurb units the year before I quit (2013)... if so that bad boy has more than 2 million on the chassis...

Nope none were. I have seen those refurd trucks. That was one of the dumbest moves Con-way every did. They would spend 30 to 50K to refurb and then do a half ass job at it. Hey remember Con-way bought the safest and best equipment for their employees.
