Brother, not exactly true, it is a little of everything, economy is not doing well and is getting worse, when the merge happened on the west, yes, some customers avoided us but also Yellow is not interested in the thin profit margin customers anymore and of course, company still adjusting things around.
Comparing it to the Yellow-Roadway, this one went without a glitch. Yellow-Roadway, the system collapsed, we went back to paper BOL's, pencils and phones ringing.
When the rest of the changes is done and new devices for P&D with a new software, everything is going to go beautiful.
When a company has earnings in the billions per year, is hard to go down with a couple bad quarters.
Our benefits coming on the next contract.

There are no 'billions in earnings' largely because there are no profits or anything to keep the company alive other than corporate welfare. That is the only thing that is sustaining Yellow. Almost 15 years of losses are locking the company into a death spiral that must be corrected soon.
Look at the all time stock price on your I Phone it went from an adjusted high of $441,787 per share to $1.90 on 3/30/23
A great attitude is always an asset but facts often blur hopes....

Losing costumers with cheap and labor intensive freight is the plan. They need to right size their labor force. Don't need 2 or 3 terminals in the same city when 1 will do.
Pillage the trucks and trailers from all of their operations to operate and junk or sell whats left.
Terminal's keep whats cheap and sell the rest.
All you are to them is a piece of meat . When their done with you just flush whats left down.
