This week, Phoenix-based trucking company Swift Transportation announced a major partnership with Blaine Perkins Racing.

The partnership was announced at Swift’s corporate headquarters on Thursday, March 9.

Swift will be the primary sponsor of the No. 07 Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, starting with the March 11 race at the Phoenix Raceway.

The Camero decked out in the blue and yellow colors and Swift logos was unveiled during the Thursday event.

“We are excited to use this partnership to promote our rewarding career opportunities for shop technicians who share our passion for innovation and excellence. Together with Blaine Perkins and SS GreenLight, we look forward to a winning season,” said Kenneth McBee, SVP of Swift Transportation.

“I’m excited to begin our partnership with SWIFT Transportation this coming week, beginning with the unveiling of the car today at their corporate office in Phoenix,” said Blaine Perkins. “I am really looking forward to debuting the SWIFT Transportation Chevy on the racetrack Saturday, and start to build on this partnership as the season continues.”

Let’s see pay the driver’s subpar wages and invest millions in NASCAR. Seems logical.
Probably most of their drivers are still at new hire rates. These truckload outfits like turnover. They make way more money off new guys backs before they figure it out in 6 months and go elsewhere.
