Police and firefighters in Tampa, Florida, are investigating a fire that destroyed several semi trucks over the weekend.

Tampa Fire Rescue (TFR) responded to a fire in an industrial area located at 39th and Adamo Drive at 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, February 4.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found “heavy smoke and flames from multiple semi-trucks.”

Firefighters say that civilians in the area were escorted away by the Tampa Police Department (TPD).

Additional firefighting resources were called in and the truck fire was extinguished within an hour.

No injuries were reported.

A total of nine trucks were involved in the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by TFR and TPD.

It's kinda weird just how flammable some outfit's trucks are nowadays in a industry downturn and when it's harder to turn a profit.
