He would have showed up, had Trump not ducked him in the final (only one on one) debate. He won several of the bunched-up debates. Dems (Trump voters) wouldn't vote for him, even of he had won every debate.
I think he would have run much better had he stayed on track against the Democrats as he was doing in the beggining of the primary before he tried to punch with Trump. Watching him in that video I had to wonder who Hillary could put against him in a VP debate.

Cruz won't be a VP. It's not completely unsure that he won't be the candidate. (Which is more of a proven loss than if Trump is the candidate) This summer, both Conventions will be on fire.

Not so fast.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 43% of the vote, while Clinton earns 39%. Twelve percent (12%) still like another candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Last week at this time, it was Clinton 44%, Trump 39%. This is Trump’s highest level of support in Rasmussen Reports’ matchups with Clinton since last October. His support has been hovering around the 40% mark since April, but it remains to be seen whether he’s just having a good week or this actually represents a real move forward among voters.

Cruz will put Israel before America. I'd like to close that book.
America First. Forget Israel...or get out.
We are burried in our own problems....no more worrying about others till ours are fixed.

There's the reason I say his followers are a cult. They insult instead of debating. They say they'll walk out if their candidate isn't the nominee, yet they expect the other guys to blindly fall in line behind their guy who had record numbers of votes Against him, as well as for him.

I calls em as I sees em. His positions are Central Government control and mostly Democrat views. At least 35% of his voters are registered Dems. He has wanted to be Prez since the late 80s, and was a Dem until he decided he couldn't win as one, so he changed parties in 09 so he could run as a Repub in 2012. He's Obama, pendulum swinging, and that's everything almost everyone on here has said we want rid of the past 8 years.

Your establishment losing candidates are proven liars. They made a pledge to vote for the winning candidate, when none of them thought Trump could win.Now that he,s won they suddenly have a change of mind.Yet you call Trump voters Dems.Maybe you need to look in a mirror,or at least the losing candidates should.

Didn't you just tell me a few days ago that "We've talked about this to the point of ad nauseam"?

You don't have to fall in lock-step with Trump's beliefs (I don't either), but there is only two other choices, and you've chosen to sit it out. We get that. But Cruz is no longer an option, so you need to face that fact.

And you always say that your vote doesn't matter since Indiana is already decided, but your posts one here could be influencing a few votes in states where it DOES still matter.

Just sayin.....

It's an opinion board. This is my hobby. I like to point out that 90% of trump voters are going against what they've posted for at least 10 years, while getting mad that I'm sticking to my principles.:438:

The Repub Party was already split. Once trump announced, all that's left is to turn out the lights. Might as well merge it with the Dems. Trump will be Obama's 3rd term, IF he wins...:tr10driving03: some of Trump's views are even to the left of Hilly. Now that's terrifying!

I agree 100% and I've said the same thing.

But I sleep just fine at night knowing that I'm not aiding in a Hillary Clinton Presidency.
To each their own I guess.

Hilly or Trump. There isn't a dime's worth of difference in the end. We're screwed...

Why not? I didn't vote for Obama or Romney, but the 1st Amendment still let's me voice my displeasure. This isn't the first time Repubs nominated a guy who loses. It may be the last, tho....

I actually think that the clear headed Democrats are supporting Trump also. Hillary is just simply bad. So they have decided that Trump is worth the risk. (Which also proves that Trump isn't Conservative enough, if there are Dems willing to cross over.) But he is the better choice of the two.
