There are no guarantees of any trucking company being around forever. Will abf be around forever?
Yes the equipment purchase was definitely a good sign, I never seen them order that many tractors at one time. also I believe the 1,500 pups they ordered were roll doors....P.S. I already know CF had a bunch of new equipment when the closed the doors....We will see how things are going Tuesday when they release earnings report, but seems to me ABF is doing alright they were rated to be able to survive another recession with their debt ratio and cash at hand and what not. Also they are remodeling terminals opening new ones and buying lots of new equipment but so is everyone else..
Seemed like ccx got most of the new equipment....Yes the equipment purchase was definitely a good sign, I never seen them order that many tractors at one time. also I believe the 1,500 pups they ordered were roll doors....P.S. Definitely did….Seemed like ccx got most of the new equipment....
On my opinion.
I thought that was a Yugo. My bad.The Pinto on Stew’s front lawn will rust and rot away before ABF closes……
Bag boy?And BTW, I am taking an hour lunch today. Get called the B word whether half hour, or full hour.
Furrin vehicles are relegated to the backyard in Rkinsaw…….ex Soviet junk has to wait in line in the side yard…I thought that was a Yugo. My bad.
The Omaha terminal posted on their dispatch window 82 operating ratio for March that's just the terminal though. We will see how things are going Tuesday when they release earnings report, but seems to me ABF is doing alright they were rated to be able to survive another recession with their debt ratio and cash at hand and what not. Also they are remodeling terminals opening new ones and buying lots of new equipment but so is everyone else..
You keep bringing up work rules, you have no idea what they even are or how much they changed over the past 3 contracts….Short Term, ABF is is good shape.
However history proves teamster LTL Carriers always fail.
Long Term, either the teamsters make ABF a nimble lean company with work rules for this century or face an uncertain future.
Believe me, I have exhausted all efforts trying to help Puffy get over his Teamster obsession. You keep bringing up work rules, you have no idea what they even are or how much they changed over the past 3 contracts….
My best solution is to put him on the ignore list.Believe me, I have exhausted all efforts trying to help Puffy get over his Teamster obsession.
I feel I would have better luck baptizing a monkey.
