WOW , that should be a good movie !!!
Available on Netflix now.
Well I know what I’ll be doing tomorrow night.. won’t get home early enough tonight to watch it.
I was off today, just watched it.
Family over tomorrow and a i suspect a few of them might be annoying to watch it with.
Is there a way to watch it without having Netflix ??
You can buy or rent the movie on YouTube.
Ok , Thanks
I sat thru it and found it some what entertaining but disappointing. IMO it not anywhere near as good as the Godfather, Goodfellas or Casino.
So, What Are Teamsters In 'The Irishman' Anyway, And What's The Connection To Jimmy Hoffa?
"Irishman" is Two Thumps up , watched it over wk-end and thought it was a great movie and found it very very very interesting of what fund they talked about of taking money out of to give & build Casinos , watch & pay attention to that detail in movie
I agree with you. What I found interesting are some.of the places they filmed at. One was an ice cream store on Long Island. We use to go to it a few times a week. I read the story where the filming took about a week and they redid the stores to make it look like it was in the 60's. Other than that it was drawn out. Took three days to watch it..
If you will remember the word on the street back then was that it was Sal Briguglio, who worked for mafia captain Ton Pro, that killed Hoffa.
This is a link to a reporter on Fox that has been following this story for years.. Totally contradicts the movie The Irishman..
Phillip Moscato Jr., the son of one of the Hoffa suspects, said his father not only told him that "Sally Bugs," his childhood friend and fellow mobster, shot Hoffa but also where Hoffa's remains were buried in northern New Jersey. A second independent revelation came from Frank Cappola, the son of the co-owner of the Jersey City dump where the FBI was told Hoffa's body was taken. Cappola corroborates Moscato's information that Hoffa was transported to New Jersey after he was killed in Detroit. Cappola also says that he knows where Hoffa was buried because he told us that it was his father Paul who buried him.
Great info clip , Thanks for posting it and very interesting part in video that they say it was true that they took money from pension fund and loaned it to build Vegas & Casinos and the now fund is going broke ?? pretty sad ............................
This was posted some years ago and I couldn't open the link. Ed Stier, in the opinion of many including Hoffa jr right up until he resigned for getting too close to Teamster corruption in Chicago, is a stand up guy
00 said you are going to spend less time at home.
Car haulers new training school gonna teach you guys how to drive and transport new Tesla pickups.
I haven't seen the movie, just curious if they mentioned how Bobby Kennedy purchased the tesimony of a lying extortionist, to convict Hoffa?
