Get a new job!! Yellow is not a freight company and hasn’t been for 40 yrs!!
Orange Freight, Ted. And thanks for stopping by.
A lot of things have happen in the past, bad management, poor representation by the Union and other things. For a lot of us is too late in the game to bet into something new.
We will be here until the end if there is one, some millenniums will try something new.
But Yellow Freight still better place to work by today's standards than other jobs.
Thank you for your advise but we are comfortably working at Yellow Freight, no stress, cup of coffee every morning, deliver what we can and pick up what we can. Let management play their numbers and everyone happy.
Drive truck, get check

Some of it went for donuts for driver appreciation weekWhere did that 700 million go again?
And some went to buy more 102” wide trailers for New Penn. Some of it went for donuts for driver appreciation week
You’re absolutely right. Never drove 102’s until Yellow got control of us. I believe New Penn had two or three 102 barn doors for a few special customersAnd some went to buy more 102” wide trailers for New Penn.

Paying out O/T and fuel for a/c for the hostlers, and also for delay pay for linehaul drivers for waiting on tractors.Where did that 700 million go again?
If you go back to the 80’s when 102s were first legalized, Yellow was one the last carriers to buy 102s. So many of Yellow s docks had dock doors very close togetherYou’re absolutely right. That would be correct. Our terminal in Quincy was built in mid 70's. Probably be difficult for some drivers to crank dollies in the doors. Made for slim, trim combo/UE people.
