Leo Terrell Blasts Democrats Over Voting Rights Bills: ‘They Are In A 1965 Time Warp’ (VIDEO)

If you believe Democrats, you might think there are huge parts of the American population who are not allowed to vote.

This is of course, not true, but when has truth ever stopped Democrats before now?

Civil rights lawyer and pundit Leo Terrell blasted the Democrats over this

Terrell referenced the fact the right to vote for all American citizens has been enshrined in federal law for 50 years, despite apparent claims to the contrary…

Terrell ripped those assertions, telling host Sean Hannity that Democrats have “lied to people of color for 50 years” on various fronts including their claims of oppression by the American system:

“They are in a 1965 Time Warp,” he said.
“Let me just give you two areas where they lie: Schools and crime. Look at the democratic cities and they have played the race card for over 50 years… I want to be clear there is no systemic racism in this country.”

Terrell said that, contrary to claims by folks like Warnock, systemic racism was eliminated with the passage of the Voting Rights Act and the latter editions of Civil Rights legislation in the 1960s, as well as the Fair Housing Act of 1968.

Democrat Rep. Hakeem Jeffries Slips, Admits Democrats’ Federal Elections Takeover Bill is Inspired by Venezuelan Socialist Hugo Chavez (VIDEO)

That awkward moment when a Democrat tells the truth.

Democrat Rep. Hakeem Jeffries on Wednesday slipped and admitted the Democrats’ federal elections takeover bill was inspired by Venezuelan Communist-Socialist dictator Hugo Chavez.

The Democrats’ ‘voting rights’ bill will eliminate voter ID, legalize ballot harvesting and force taxpayers to pay for campaigns.

The election bill will essentially eliminate chain of custody and make it easier for Democrats to steal elections.

Jeffries quickly corrected himself after he realized he let the truth slip.

“…Inspired by Hugo Chavez…Cesar Chavez — when inspired by all of these leaders…” Jeffries said.

See. This is not a logical response. Stolen election. Voter fraud. You’re exacting revenge on our democratic process because your guy lost. I’m noticing you are responding to an obvious like minded person such as yourself. You use this buy line of stolen election as your serviceable option because it’s easy. No matter how many times it’s explained you and the other like minded members will continue this assault on democracy and our democratic process UNLESS your guy wins. That’s not realistic. That’s just a party line response because it makes you feel better to say that. So in essence every election that your guy’s lose will be stolen.
Someone who reads this post would probably assume your talking about Hitlery or the New Democrat darling Stacey Abrams.

Hitlery cried foul and wrote a book of excuses why she lost and caused years of investigations into a stolen election blaming Russia. Which we all know was found to be false. And that it was her own campaign who falsified evidence But that was no threat to democracy, nor was it an insurrection.

Abrams refused to concede her loss because she claimed the election was stolen and she was cheated. she still has not conceded that loss but is running again. No threat to democracy.

The democrat party loudly supported both of their fraudulent claims and lies. They launched years of investigations and hearings tried to remove a duly elected sitting President TWICE. Excused falsified information, numerous counts of perjury and treason from FBI agents among others no Threat to democracy there. Not an insurrection.

If we ask people to show ID when they vote or don’t allow mail in ballots without signature verification and same day voter registrations it’s a threat to our democracy.

Please continue to tell us how educated and intelligent you are.

Manchin: We Already Have Laws to Ensure Voting Rights

We do, plenty of them. If there’s minority voters suppression then it’s the democrat freak show doing it in the cities they’ve run for 50 years.

Looks like the next step is enacting the 14th amendment sec 3 and start bringing charges against politicians involved in Jan 6.

Section 3

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

In the last 12 years republicans when they were the minority used the filibuster more than the democrats when they were the minority...........GET RID OF IT
Since 2009, 657 filibusters were recorded under Democratic minorities while 609 filibusters were recorded under Republican minorities.

Research by Slate on filibusters between 1991 and 2008 found that Democrats successfully filibustered 63 times while Republicans successfully filibustered 89 times.

I responded respectfully. Don’t attack me with similar unfounded unproven responses. That would be silly and just intensify what seems to be an illogical reply. It seems like “icuicp’s” analogy of massing the troops has a lot of foundation. I’m not going to fight fire with fire. Just stating the facts is good enough for me and the people I ride with. Keep it friendly and I will give you an educated response. Keep the hate on your side of the keyboard. Hiding behind it just isn’t right.
Respectfully,I never responded to you to start with.I am of the belief the radical Democrats have done irreparable harm and division(with the help of the media),to the country.Their are allies and enemies to my beliefs and Im not out to change any minds or get into a keyboard confrontation with my enemies...Carry on.

Business as usual ..nothing gets done.
In many ways that’s a good thing - Congress was intended to be a part time position, not something where you have to “make work” . Today people think that Congress should always “get things done” but all to often they do more harm than good just to justify their positions.

As pointed out we have plenty of voting laws as well as civil rights laws already on the books that address all the points that were brought up.

No one really believes that this wasn’t anything more than a complete power grab attempt

you of course have evidence of that

If Sen. Charles E. Schumer were still the minority leader, it’s a good bet that he would be using the filibuster enthusiastically to stop Republican priorities, not fighting to eliminate it.

The New York Democrat has had plenty of practice. During 23 years in the Senate, he has voted more than 500 times to sustain a filibuster, according to data compiled by GovTrack.

throw in the 327 from 2020

During the 2019-2020 Congressional term, a record-breaking 328 filibusters were recorded with Democrats in the minority.

Since 2009, 657 filibusters were recorded under Democratic minorities while 609 filibusters were recorded under Republican minorities.
