Since the Democrats did very well in the 2020 election, why would you want to change the election process?

There needs to be verifications in place.

We saw in the 2020 election that Democrats can't be allowed to be anywhere near the vote counting areas. Totes and bags full of votes seem to always surface, and oddly enough, 95% of them are always Democrat votes.

The voting rights bill would allow for no excuse absentee voting, expand the voter registration process and make Election Day a Federal Holiday with other provisions. Now….. I’m not saying you’re a Republican but most of the pull back against this particular bill is overwhelmingly Republican. Especially in the wake of all the unfounded accusations of voter fraud brought by Mr Trump and his followers both public and private. Bringing Democracy to its knees was unethical and unquestionably a blow to our nation’s core values. It brought us into a hostile environment waging Democrat’s against Republican’s. Why? Because Mr Trump lost? Part of being who we are is accepting sometimes we lose. That’s a fact of life. Losing with a smile on your face and acceptance of that fact makes us men. Our resilience to come back and try again is what we’re made of. That’s what makes the United States the greatest nation on earth. Thank you for giving me a reason to reply!

As long as every zip code has more than enough polling stations, I see no issue with it.

I’m staying on topic I’m in favor of voting this bill through to make it the law of the land.

The voting bill is a bunch of unnecessary crap. And since you can't give us a single example of voter suppression or disenfranchisement that means that the bill is all about the other hidden stuff, and not what the name of the Bill is.
Like usual with you Democrats, if you name a bill, "justice for the people" there will actually be zero justice in the bill. (But your side is good at naming the bills with cute, little, catchy names.)

If you get rid of the filibuster, anytime there is a majority party, there’ll be new laws every week. There’ll be no constants. And- right now, you like that because both Houses of Congress are Dems. However- the same principle would stand when Republicans take it back and all RightWing leaning Bills would become law.

The job of the Senate is to slow things and actually make it difficult to pass things, so there is stability. Remember McCain’s Thumb Down Moment stopping OCare from being repealed? Without the filibuster- it would be gone…..
