Am I missing something? I thought that if you used the ignore button, it just blocked you from seeing posts from them, not the other way around.

You are correct. They don't see our posts but we see theirs, and we can still pick their foolishness apart without them interrupting.
Exactly. I was contacted when I first decided to become a member and was warned by another member as to how to handle this particular forum. I see guy’s are trolling me now especially that Northern guy. Don’t they have something within the site by the administrator that says no trolling? Does that apply to everyone or just those who have a different view? Standing toe to toe with an extremist is not my idea of fun. I don’t think this site is completely conservative I just believe most of the guy’s who aren’t prefer to stay out of the cross hairs. Just don’t troll me guy’s. I won’t troll you either. That’s all we can ask.

It was called the Politics forum from circa 2001 until the 13 Marines were killed E-Vaccing Afghanistan. Changing the Forum Name appears to be Jeff’s way of honoring those Marines. I, for one, used this thread to honor several Military Vets: my Dad, who went ashore on Normandy Beach; My Brother in Law who was killed at Khe Sanh; my Brother in Law who was awarded a Bronze Star for Courage Under Fire in the Mekong Delta; and my Middle Son, who deployed for 5 Deployments all over those Middle East and Asian Hell Holes.
Is this forum Political? Absolutely! Should it be? Absolutely! I haven’t looked lately, but Jeff always had a warning posted that if you were easily offended by Politics, to Stay Out. Perhaps you should heed that advise…. Sounds to me that it’s not really politics that you dislike? It sounds more like people daring to question policies that you like that led to this post?????
Actually a man called ABF contacted me after I initially became a member. He’s not about this political forum which I asked him about. We were talking union in a different forum. He warned me about some of the ignorance and bad behavior that goes on in here and told me to beware. You know it’s quite obvious that many many are given preferential treatment because of their extremist views. That tells me this site caters to those who are actually in the minority nation wide but in here the 10 or 15 are given carte Blanche to create chaos in any way they choose. That behavior starts at the top. Subordinates such as this northern skin rash are given the full arsenal to do what they want whenever. That’s not real world behavior. I choose to keep myself at bay because their opinions and theories are only manifested inside their own minds. That’s why things are! Not good. You won’t hear politics at my dinner table nor when I communicate with my friends. That’s not real world. Politics creates more hate than religious wars….. theoretically speaking. I’m a happy guy. Doesn’t mean I can’t get dirty. I just choose not too.

I was going to ask if you called yourself George or Sonny (both the same Leftist poster who kept changing his name on here)? many times Leftists come on here posing as Independents- lurkers who have no political issues, but suddenly are lured here to ‘straighten out the Extremeists’.
Soon as you mentioned ABFer, it all became clear. ABFer HAD been a Moderator (you said he didn’t have any relation to politics????). Jeff banned him after he showed his intentions of mischaracterizing several posts and posters on here. Are you really ABFer now, and not merely ‘referred by him’…
Whether or not you actually post real politics is yet to be seen. But your first post was to come here and hurl insults. That rarely works out well….

So???? I have many times been banned from the ABF Forum because of the posters there disagree with my views. I can name at least 5 guys there that I call extreme Leftists, just as you and ABFer call people on here Extreme Rightwingers. Sounds to me like you want only to come here to insult…..

Really. Well this ABF guy is still a member and gladly so. Only people who can’t manage their political beliefs from real life are truly the one’s with a problem. Is it this site’s policy to ban anyone who doesn’t conform to YOUR’S and THEIR POLITICAL IDEOLOGY? I mean is that what this is. I can see your post. Is this your true belief that only conservative values mean something in America? I mean if you are truly an American then freedom of choice should be honored in your mind….shouldn’t it. Or is that just an abomination of your true values. It’s quite apparent within this site it’s being a conservative or you’re garbage? Is that really how it is in here MR JIMMY? Do you truly accept this sites views in politics over reality. Then sir respectfully you are not a true American. That comes with a distinction. I won’t ignore you. You came kind of respectfully. I guess I try to figure out people and won’t. I don’t really care what goes on down on the Xpo or yellow forums so I obviously just don’t go there. I don’t go there and bitch about everyone. I really don’t get stuff like that.
