Thousands of doctors have now been dropped from plans due to the fact that Obama Care striped money from Medicare Advantage. We pointed out this would would happen a few years ago any many folks here and the general public denied that this would happen, it is just another nail in the coffin known as Obama Care for supporting a full repeal of this monstrosity.

When Palin and others pointed out that their would be rationing and that the elderly would suffer, she and so many others such as the Tea Party were called every name in the book but we were right all along because we payed attention and did the resurch. This goes to show just how destructive these feel good policies are. United Health Group is just the first to start dropping doctors Atna is moving in that direction as well.

Not likely but thats more a function of United Health Cares contract negotiations not Obama.
Last year they had a break down with negotiations of the largest chain of Hospitals in my area, we were left with a few smaller places that lasted about 2 months until a deal was reached

Doctors aren't going anywhere, where would they go?

Mags many are being dropped and yes it is a result of the Obama care law due to the fact that it stripped funds . You ask where they would go, they can still practice medicine they just will not be accepting those on Obama Care, Medicare, or Medicade .. Some will go to the extent of accepting patients that self insure.. You know pay for services. That is a loophole in the new law that actually benefits both doctors as they would get paid unlike currently where the government pays .30 cents on the dollar to the practice.

For those who actually pay the costs are much less than what is charged to insurance companies. Many doctors have already moved in this direction, what is being glossed over here is the fact that due to this law the groups are dropping doctors and as a result it is effecting real lives Mags. Tink if your doctor is dropped and you had cancer and can no longer go to your doctor. That's what people are facing now........ Remember besides " you will be able to keep your plan period" he also said " you will be able to keep your doctor period" mind you he was not alone saying all that BS but it make Nixon look less like a crook now

lets blame the doctors for actually wanting to make a living from their skills.

Punish them, humiliate them, seize their property and force them into FEMA camps

There is no ObamaCare in reality it's all private insurance just as always but people are required to be in a plan no matter if they get it from work or buy on there own.
I can't see where this would exclude any doctors who agree to the terms, but they do that when they accept any insurance.
Most of us could afford to pay for a Family Doctors visit but if we had to go to specialist for tests & procedures it gets over our heads.

I seen the bills my Insurance carrier pays and its extreemly low in my opinion what they actually pay the providers.
If you go into a Doctor or Hospital and you pay in cash or get billed you will be charged WAY WAY more then they would bill an insurance company for the same procedure.
You might think they would give you a break for cash but no you get the shaft.

This is just more proof that you know absolutely nothing about reality. You couldn't be more wrong. It's just the opposite. Cash always makes the bill lower. I do it often. So don't try to tell me otherwise.

It works for dental, optical, and all other medical treatments.

Mags as you will see here there is a new trend in the way doctors will practice. Some if not most of the reason is delayed or low payments from government coverage such as Medicare and Medicade ..

    I would expect nothing less

Why just last week, Barry blamed the insurance companies for cancelling people because the plans were not in accordance with his law.

That has been proven false. The facts are that if you have medical insurance, your bill will actually be more than if you payed in cash, and no I don't need to argue with you about this because it has been verified many times. Rhetoric will not change facts, this is why there had been a move toward Medical Coops recently. That is until the Dems (who would have at one time endorsed Medical Coops) put a stop to it. They had to! They can't allow the free market to solve its own problems and let us not forget that insurance companies are white shoe boys. They are money changers...Imagine the modern Democrat in bed with the investment boys? And you thought Republicans were the only people that jumped in bed with bankers.

But, I imagine you will get your day of awakening and it will come and go without comment from you. You may soon find yourself in the minority of Democrats who are still willing to go along with the ACA (Affordable Care Act) because it is not Affordable, it reduces Care and it was passed when no one was paying attention. But by all means, continue down the rosy path you are on. The only thing that will sober you up to what is really going on is for your entitlements to come to a crashing end because of a depression.

We have three more years to go. Be encouraged, you may get a dose of reality yet. Then the cast of players will open up and you will realize that it is too late and we have gone too far down the European economic road to ever go back. We will become like Greece where medical care is the least of their troubles and they will gladly accept a mass reduction of population in exchange for a little peace of mind. But why should I waste my time on you? Your mind is made up and there is no changing it. They used to call that being rigid and unbending.....something the Right was always being accused of being. But now it is your turn to wear the mantle of insisting upon having it your way.

Welcome to Conservatism. You are what you hate of others.

I know one digit that seems to illustrate how a few of us feel about our Government today. Is that the single digit you are referring to?
