Can we stop blaming one company and the other , we were all fine alone and we all hate one another's company's as opposed to our own, but right now we are all are angry and we should leave that where it originated , with management, we are all tired of this and are feeling the same, betrayed by the management and that we paid for the mistakes that management made, it is time to stand together and make a stand , less than 6mos. They made an offer on another company? So we know there has to be some money there so let's hear what Hoffa has to say and then MAKE OUR STAND!!!!

Apparently soneone does not know finance. Who In the right mind, would finance this titanic if a ship with 1.4 Billion in debt, and has not turned a profit in five (5) years, has a disgruntled workforce and the competion who has deep pockets can cut rates and is more than willing to put YRC under and then the ltl market will Not be over capacitated. Any takers? come on buck up meesters, we need some yes votes and some money. Its time to put this ship where she belongs due to mismanagement and that is at the bottom of the sea.

What has happened to union spirit? Instead of everyone arguing about fault and finance, how about us union members take a stand and act like brothers again. YRCW wasn't buying a house! Banks and investors looked at the value of ABF's assets and correctly determined that by liquidating excess property that loan was financially attractive. Those same banks and investors knew that YRCW needs desperately to recapitalize it fleet. ABF is loaded with late model equipment. Two positives and no downside.
And to those who suggest that those same banks and investors GIVE money to YRCW to pay us, I WANT WHATEVER IT IS YOU'RE TAKING!

Well it's nice to see that you guys can all find jobs as financial experts when the doors close but the thread is about sticking together while we are here. The question is what are we standing together on? What do you (as drivers) want out of a contract negotiation? What would be acceptable and what is unacceptable? Can you believe anything that the company tells you anymore? If we got a new contract, would the company live up to their end of the bargain? Will the IBT hold the company accountable? The spirit of the original post is to stand together. Let's stop arguing about the ABF offer and talk about what we want out of a new contract extension. If we cannot agree on anything as brothers and sisters maybe we should flush this turd.
