sea makes so much safety sense to turn trucks to 68 when they never leave a 60 mph state,,, all drivers run to the max in them with few who have tickets reckless ,,, sounds safe to me
Cummins engines have been able to account for tire wear for over 25 years now. You program in the tire wear based on the tread life, tire size and type of tire. The computer would adjust the governed speed to account for tread wear. The problem is that different tire brands, composition of the tire compound makes figuring it out more tedious. Because of this, most companies don’t bother with programming this in.
