Truck strikes overpass in Ann Arbor, closing interstate ‘indefinitely’

Police in Ann Arbor, Michigan, are asking drivers to seek alternate routes following a Monday morning bridge strike.

The bridge strike occurred during the morning rush hour on March 13.

According to the City of Ann Arbor – Police Department, a truck struck an overpass on eastbound I-94 at Liberty Road.

No injuries were reported.

“The freeway will be shutdown indefinitely. The Liberty Rd overpass is also closed,” police said.

Traffic is being diverted off of I-94 to eastbound M14 as crews clean up debris and inspect the overpass for damage.

To be fair the Clarence beet elevator doesn't have a scale, so Jorge's outfit was already a little light on the steers, those beets are heavy bastards, funny the article didn't even mention a beet spill though....but ya know... I bet you other motorists snapped them all up before HP made the scene...it was Ann Arbor after all.
