Where I am now, we just hired 5 to replace 9. The economy is not as good as the cheerleaders in the government and media would have us all believe.

USF is probably hiring, they just got a bunch of freight.

They are putting the brakes on hiring drivers because this is about the only industry hiring. The economy is not getting better fast enough and freight is not growing as fast as they want us to believe. 1 million drivers clogging up truck stops and walmart parking lots waiting on freight is not going to work.

Do you mean the Regional Division of YRCW?? Bunch of freight.that must be the next day freight that YRC was hauling at deep deep discounts.
