This is stupid for UPS to agree to. Many LTL companies are currently hiring at the top wage from the first day. Seems as though it would be hard for them to hire new drivers when they can start at the top somewhere else.

History always repeats itself.
Look at every union deal that adds a second class of lower paid employees and check back in 3 to 5 years.
For some odd reason the second class lower paid employees will dominate and the higher paid employees will slowly be moved out.
Be careful what you vote for, you could be voting for the end of your own job.
