Why not just pay your drivers better wages,and let them decide which college to earn a degree from? Instead of the usual,strings attached deal? Would love to see the fine print of how this actually works.

Didn't you read Stephanie Fisher's interview with Deutch Bank? She said we're already the highest paid drivers in the industry. Yrc has a great relationship with the union, and is working on getting some meaningful work rule changes to allow it to compete in today's fast paced world. You have to stop spreading these rumors of give backs. That was a minor change to bring us in line with cost effective synergies to bring us in line with real world pricing allowing us to be competitive etc, etc, etc, ..................
As far as getting people to apply it's working. Some of our experienced drivers (6 mos-1year) are applying with fed ex freight

indeed, the line from management is we are highly compensated.. (in comparison to the competition we are around 10$ per hr less, 1 week of vacation less and 45$ per day short on our pension payments).
