US House bill includes $755 million in truck parking grants

Just a drop in the bucket. Far to often drivers are being forced to park in dangerous areas because truck stops simply don't care enough about their "customers " to provide adequate parking state and federal officials could care less about a trashy truck driver and companies push the drivers to squeeze every minute out of that log.
 
Need better zoning and building codes , if Loves wants to buy the McMullin farm to build a truckstop they better buy the Schugel farm next door for parking

Love’s doesn’t want trucks parking there all night. That’s why their lots only hold like 100 trucks. They want you to fuel, pay for a shower, buy some day old burritos from the rollers, then get the hell out so they can make money off another driver. They don’t make anything off you sleeping there for 10 hours.
