Must be you don't read too good..."ABF Freight System took 8.4% of Yellow's daily shipments, increasing its daily volume by 20.1% the largest gain reported."Hum......
Looks like most of Yellow shipments moves to non union carriers.
SOB wins again...

The JOC reported Fed Ex Freight was the biggest winner.Must be you don't read too good..."ABF Freight System took 8.4% of Yellow's daily shipments, increasing its daily volume by 20.1% the largest gain reported."
A great deal of Yellow's shipments were underpriced, who would want them?
You made it sound as though the two Union carriers got nothing....you were wrong. In comparison to the size of the carriers, I would say ABF was a big winner....Also no response to who would want Yellows vastly under priced freight....Also you use the biggest LTL getting the most shipments....what a shock that is, said no one....The JOC reported Fed Ex Freight was the biggest winner.
Must be you don't read too good???
It's like the stories saying there is a driver shortage. There is no shortage the powers to be are wanting to push an agenda. What is it im not sure but i guess its to flood the market with cheap labor and eventually wreck the industry like they have so many others. That's just an opinion. Supposing shortage of drivers yet not enough spaces to park at night. Why is this a story? Shippers have been bouncing between carriers for decades. Pricing. Hell, had one shipper tell me it depended on which company gave him the best seats to the Bill's games. That is who he used
You couldn't prove it by me, it is still slower than at FDFThe JOC reported Fed Ex Freight was the biggest winner.

Perhaps the Journal of Commerce is wrong??You couldn't prove it by me, it is still slower than at FDF
Seeing I’m still in the game, Fed Ex drivers tell me that they got very little. Big winners if you want to call it that were Estes, Saia & Xpo….The JOC reported Fed Ex Freight was the biggest winner.

They were mostly :: accounts. Thats why Yellow was making NO money.Hum......

My retired friend did that for years. Worked for Avery Dennison and Roadway always took him out on the town. When he started his own company everyone was taking him on golf outings, dinners etc.Why is this a story? Shippers have been bouncing between carriers for decades. Pricing. To long ago to remember who, but they were in Buffalo. Said the pricing and service were comparable between carriers. So goodies was the deciderMy retired friend did that for years. Well since the Bills loose every year that makes sense! Why is this a story? Shippers have been bouncing between carriers for decades. Pricing. Hell, had one shipper tell me it depended on which company gave him the best seats to the Bill's games. That is who he used
