He'd be a contractor not an actual employee of the USPS, I suspect his companies contract will get yanked the USPS holds contractors to high standards.

Egads we were practically co-workers, I did that before I retired......LAST in case it matters.
Some stole the hub caps.... or you just drove the wheels off of it.
Almost happened to me back in the 70’s when I delivered mail in my Pinto...Still looks good though. Don’t it?.
