Strong winds were too much for three semis on I-80 late this afternoon. Two of the trucks flipped over, another was blown into the Great Salt Lake.
That stretch of I-80 heading west out of Utah is well known to truckers as a dangerous place to be when the wind picks up. When a Utah Highway Patrol trooper describes the Great Salt Lake like this you don't want to be anywhere near it.
