Road crews will be out again Tuesday night at an Interstate 95 work zone that was the scene of a deadly accident Tuesday morning. The site is near the Lewistown Road exit in Hanover. According to State Police, a truck driver plowed into the back of another 18-wheeler slowing down in the work zone. One driver was killed.
Virginia Department of Transportation officials say the work zone was set up the way it should have been Monday night. Cones and flashing lights were out. But, all the warnings apparently weren't enough to save one driver's life.

The trucker killed was reportedly driving 60 miles an hour. The truck he hit going 2 miles-an-hour.

Virginia State Police Sgt. Kevin Barrick says, “It drove the motor and everything from the tractor right on top of the guy in the driver's compartment.”
