Unless you have a legit side hustle, rent houses, a wife with a LOT of travel expenses, ect, then do your own. Takes maybe 45min,max.
But yes, Turbotax, and the others are used when you go to G&R block, or a Cpa.

It has been greatly simplified and is easy to do unless you have a whole bunch of deductions and itemize. I just do the paper form and fill it out by hand. Wouldn’t give anything intuit (makers of turbo tax, quick books etc) a dime or the time of day. They have been known to use some pretty shady and dishonest business practices.
