ODFL | What benefit does ODFL get from being the "official LTL carrier of the NCAA"..just wondering.."

Why does a freight company advertise anywhere , or for that matter any company. Each sport or cable news co has THEIR group of people that watch them. I would guess they are looking for another group of viewers that deal with shipping freight who for whatever reason don't ship with OD.
 
My point is that LTL is not a consumer product....is this geared toward the shipping clerk and/or warehouse manager.
I agree with your point , I would guess it is geared to anybody in a business that has input on shipping. I would also guess that a person in marketing sold the brass on the idea of advertising on sports and news channels.
