The union establishes a high bar for salaries, health care, retirement, and work rules. As a matter of fact most paid holidays, forty hour workweek, health and retirement here in the USA were fought for by unions. You yourselves must have noticed pay increases based on our last negotiations.
Ask yourselves if the company would have granted these benefits of their own free will
or out of fear you might join us.Consider the union and its members as your friends. We are working hard for all working class men and women. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. Unfortunately sometimes there is
risk involved. Please support us in our struggle
as we have done for you. Thanks

To try to simplify a sometimes complicated question for people to ask themselves from time to time. You will no longer be an At Will employee rather a just cause employee. There is many other things that come along with being and not being union. There is no right or wrong answers here and the individual must look at the picture for themselves then decide. The link below serves as a foundation for one to build off of in the attempt to educate themselves in this area. Best of luck in finding your answers!

Thanks for the additional reading Stan. Seems people have been pondering the relationship
between employer and employee and each others obligations for some time.
